Thought I'd try something new.
I rarely use this style, but decided to start using it again for a little while at least. If I were to make a novel into a comic, I'd probably do "Cell" by Stephen King. Awesome book with an apocalyptic theme. But that'd be an awful large project. >> Character is inspired by how I imagined Derek would look like from the short story "Hopeless" Ben wrote a little while back shortly before the bloodsport started. This is the look he had on his face througout half the story when it was going through my head. A "OMFG ZOMBIES!!!" expression. XD Ironically, however.... This was the song I was listening to while drawing this. [link]  Too bad his ending won't be so happy... I've also found the perfect quote that describes Ben's short story. "If you die, the world lives on. If the world dies.... YOU DIE TOO." I heard it in the trailer for the remake of "The day the Earth stood still." Therefore the quote isn't mine. |

He does look scared. XD But this was hilarious fun to draw. Scared is probably my favorite expression to draw. =B
And I do like that story. It's sweet. Even if he dies. X) It's just that in most of these stories the main character doesn't die. Even though the odds are stacked against him. it's not realistic. This is how it probably would actually turn out.
Why wouldn't I refer to you as Ben? It's written at the bottom of every comment you write. And sometimes misspelled. X3 And once you get to know someone to a certain degree, it feels weird calling them by their username. Especially if it's something weird like "swiblet" Where did you come up with that anyways?
